As well as a filmmaker, Mitchell is also an emerging, gender fluid screen actor. After working as a young actor in local Brisbane theatre and television, Marion took a step back from acting while in the UK to focus on filmmaking. After returning back to Australia however, Mitchell's acting career has started to blossom again. Since appearing on the BBC's RuPaul's Drag Race UK S1 (2019), Mitchell has been working consistently as an actor, appearing in music videos like "Let Go" by The Irepressibles (2020), short film "Wendy and Vee" (2022), and the groundbreaking Australian ABC LGBTQ+ mini series In Our Blood (2023).
